For those of you who haven't heard about the Filton 25, they still need our support. Trials are ongoing for their part in destroying weapons which would otherwise have killed thousands. Some of these Palestine Action activists have already served over a year in jail and at the most recent completed trial they were denied the right to explain their motives or acknowledge the ongoing genocide. Terrorist charges were added after the jury deliberated, something they were not informed would happen and that has never happened before with such charges.
In August 2024, a group of six Palestine Action activists broke into the newly built, secret site of Elbit Systems, Israel’s biggest weapons producer. The site in Filton, Bristol, had been marketed as a ‘research and development ‘ site, yet the activists managed to bypass the high security and uncover the masses of weapons that were being developed and stored in this undercover warehouse. During their action, they dismantled and destroyed a shipment of killer quadcopter drones that Israel uses in Gaza.
