The Film Society was off campus tonight for a special event. Timothée Chalamet joined us for a standing room only Sunday evening screening of BEAUTIFUL BOY up at the beautiful Bedford Playhouse in Bedford, NY. Timothée sat down with fellow LaGuardia High School alum (and FSLC executive director) Lesli Klainberg to chat about his work and career. Timothée is a Film Society fav, he was at NYFF last year with two films, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME and LADY BIRD and he’s now about to work on a few upcoming movies, including Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE and Wes Anderson’s latest. Timothée said tonight that he’s just finished shooting Greta Gerwig’s LITTLE WOMEN. Thanks to our friends at the Bedford Playhouse (we look forward to doing more together in the future) and, of course, gratitude to our good friends at Amazon for their support of tonight’s screening and reception. It was a really terrific evening.
