Having Henry suggest the treehouse made Fievel grin. Now that the curse was broken, he could remember back in his world, in his Green River, that he had begged and begged his father to build him a treehouse. It took a lot of pushing and shoving and earning, but he’d eventually won his father over. Considering he had only been able to find Tiger here in Storybrooke so far, he thought it might be nice to do this with the other boy.
It’d keep him busy, to say the least.
“Yeah!” he said, not bothering to hide his excitement. Henry was a nice kid, and he’d been trying to get to know him a little bit better - but coming to terms with being cursed and trying to find his family again kept him a little preoccupied for the most part. “That’d be really awesome!”
He idly wondered if Henry’s mom would be okay with this; the Mayor seemed more than a little protective of the boy. But that was none of his business, really.
Henry was so relieved that Fievel liked the idea. He grinned at the other boy, not able to hide his excitement. “Sweet! I found a pretty good place to do it too. There’s this spot in the woods that like, no one ever goes, and there’s this really strong oak tree there. Do you wanna go see it now?” After all, school had just ended. It would be the perfect time to show Fievel what he was planning. “And we don’t have to tell any adults!” That was probably the best part to Henry. They didn’t have to tell anyone, so no one could tell them no. They could just have a kid club house to hang out in and be friends.
