You heard me
“ but how do i know i will like another eliot as much as my eliot ? ”
How did people ever move on from things that happened in the past? It was a thought that often enough wandered into Quentin’s mind without a single warning. And today was one of those days. He hadn’t slept well, his dreams clouded by nightmares and memories of things that he wish he could’ve fixed. There’d been so many mistakes, things he felt guilty for, that he blamed himself for even if he knew that there was no logic in that.
Tonight had been another night like that, he had gone to bed with a sense of dread. He woke with a scream, his heart racing and his body sticky with sweat. He’d somehow managed to entangle himself in his bedsheets and struggled free before closing his eyes with a deep sigh. “Fuck …” His voice was but a whisper and the word seemed to echo through his room. Rubbing his face with a soft groan, he sat up in his bed, welcoming the cold of the tiles on his feet.
With his back aching and his mind dazed from sleep, he stood and looked around his room for a moment before shaking his head. He wanted to get away and took a deep breath, letting his feet take him away. Through hallways and doors, up and down stairs until he found himself in a rather abandoned room. The observatory, he had once used the room to study since it was usually empty. During the day it was especially empty, but now with the clouded sky and the rain and storm outside it was just as abandoned, which suited him just fine.
Settling himself down in the armchair, he swung a leg over one of the armrests and leaned back, his mind going over the visions he’d seen in his dreams.

“Yeah, I have no clue who or what you’re talking about,” Randall said, pointing around as if he had... something useful to gesture towards. “Part of me thinks run away from the crazy guy but a quest also sounds very fun.”
@filloriansovereign continued from here:
Okay, those are fair questions. Probably. Scott looks briefly confused instead of concerned.
“Um. I don’t--I don’t know. Whoever it is just doesn’t sme--seem. Right. You know, that kind of feeling.” Because telling a stranger that someone smells suspicious is probably weirder than what he’s doing right now instead. He lowers his voice a little more. “I just don’t think we should be here.”

Eliot, for all that it was worth, instantly forgot how to act normal. He shrugged excruciatingly slowly and shook his head at her, “Okay!” "Telling me not to be alarmed alarms me in a very ironic but also very real way. What exactly do you want me to do about it?”
“I said act normal --- not constipated.” There’s slight judgement to her voice, but she should have picked a different approach to raise Eliot’s awareness that she was being followed. Pulling him to the side might have worked, but she had sincerely hoped for a different reaction from this. Either way she would work with what she got. His position as her partner in crime wasn’t in any jeopardy either way. No one could ever hold such a position save for him.
“Let’s go somewhere where they won’t hear us before I explain. ” Taking his sleeve, Margo tugs the man into a side corridor in the building. It was once their castle, but now the fairies had set their claim. It was hard to get anywhere alone without them tracking every move they made.

‘ no , i didn’t rough up Quentin !! ‘ Davina called out to the male who seemed to have a crown on his head , as if he was some kind of king and part of her wanted to climb him and smack it off his head . ‘ I grabbed his shirt and threatened him , big difference . I might have shaken him a bit but he’s not a child , he can’t suffer from SBS . ‘ she rolled her eyes , arms crossed over her chest . ‘ I want magic back , i’m stuck here because your boy messed up and got it turned off . ‘
"What are you wondering, hm?"
It was already starting to seem like he wasn't in his realm. His ability to create portals had been perfect before the loss of his magic and now — he knew it was just like everything else he'd done in the past. He just needed to stretch those muscles and in time he'd be able to travel from New York to his favourite parts of the world. Until then, though, he would need to figure out how best to get back considering this was nothing like the realm he'd left. And judging by the man there in front of him, he might've actually found a realm where there were kings and queens. Which meant Magnus had somehow screwed up in a way he'd never done before. Hopefully, he'd be able to get back to his own realm. But if not? It was something he'd have to figure out sooner rather than later. "Or maybe I should be asking what is it you know?"
