Da Vinci, Matisse, and Pollock!
Thank you!! :)
Da Vinci: Do you have many talents or one thing youāre really good at? I donāt know exactly, I can do a lot of things when I put enough effort, but I am extremely perfectionist and most of the time things are not good enough for me and I know I HAVE TO WORK ON IT! But yes, I think I have many talents, but there are things that Iām better at than others.
Matisse: Does observing other people influence your style?Ā Aesthetically,Ā I believe so. Even if not consciously, unconsciously. In my case, Iām influenced by fictional characters and people who I admire. In a matter of opinion, I try to build my own opinions through research and etc.Ā
Pollock: How do you define āartā? Thatās a good one!! I believe art is life. Iāll stop here because otherwise Iāll write a whole book about what is art for me, and, actually, itās really hard put it into words because this is something that I can feel, not describe.

I'm slowly working my way through the tags I've been given! These are the questions the gorgeous filigreefields tagged me for, sorry it took me so long to answer!
1. Do you prefer watching movies at home or to go out to the cinemas?
IĀ loveĀ going to the cinema. My favourite theatre in the world is this little place downtown in the city I live which I don't think has changed since the 70s. The carpets are bright and dusty, the theatre walls are lined with sweeping old velvet curtains, and the seats are brown leather (and extremely uncomfortable). I wish I could watch every film there. I do like the comfort of being at home and just curling up in bed with a movie but cinemas are so magical, especially old ones. As soon as you step in you forget the rest of the world, and it would be hard to draw a plan from memory - you're just surrounded by film, images, stories, (and the smell of popcorn). One of my favourite things to do is go to that theatre with a friend for a night session and have cocktails at one of the lovely bars nearby, or go during the daytime and have cake at a patisserie.
2. What is your favorite color combination?
I love pale pink and grey, red and black, black and white, plum and white, mint and pink, pale blue and white, pink and black, turquoise and mustard yellow... I am going to stop now
3. Have you ever seen any Wes Anderson movies, if so which one is your favorite?
I absolutely adoreĀ Wes Anderson movies!! Love love love em so much! I adore that world which seems so handmade, secondhand, yet still mysterious and magical, unpredictable. I love the combination of wonder and melancholy, the celebration and lamentation of life in the same breath, same scene, same shot. His films are all so different, but I think they all share the message that life is sad and beautiful, and everyone who lives is confused and lost, but that all-in-all it's not too bad a place at all to be lost in.
I love The Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore, Bottle Rocket.... all of them really, but my special favourites are The Gand Budapest Hotel and The Darjeeling Limited. I love those two movies indescribably.Ā
4. What concerts have you been to?
Gosh, the first concert I ever attended must have been the Veronicas for my 11th or 12th birthday. I can barely remember it! In 2012 I saw Florence and the Machine and Lisa Mitchell, in 2013 I went to a music festival where I saw Matt and Kim, They Might Be Giants, Tegan and Sara, The Kooks, and the Temper Trap, and later that year I saw Taylor Swift with a couple of my best friends. And this year I've seen Vampire Weekend, The Arctic Monkeys, and The Paper Kites. I think that's it! Steph and I are praying that Lana Del Rey comes to Australia this summer like she is saying she'd like to - that would be a grand way to make up for the fact that I missed out on Rolling Stones tickets :(
5. What color clothes do you have a majority of?
Apart from black and white (most of my wardrobe oops)? Probably red. I really tend to dress in black, with a little bit of red to 'brighten it up'.
6. On a scale of 1-10, how organized are you? (1 being the most disorganized)
I'm probably a solid 4, striving to become a 6 or 7
7. Have you ever made a fairy house?
When I was little, I used to, just out of sticks and ferns and stones and flowers and things
8. Favorite animal?
I'm not really sure - usually if I watch any animal I'm struck by how beautiful it is and how amazing it is to think these things exist and how different they are to anything else. When I was little I wanted to be a zoologist (me! a scientist!) and watched David Attenborough documentaries religiously so I guess it's ingrained in me!
9. Land animals or sea creatures?
As above! Before wanting to be a zoologist I wanted to be a marine biologist (serious obsession with whales and dolphins), but I changed my mind because I became interested in all animals. My whole life was animals until I was maybe 10??Ā
10. If you could have any type animal in the world be your pet that would be completely domesticated and friendly such as a dog or cat, what would it be?
If it weren't at all cruel I would love a big cat, like a tiger or a leopard, they're absolutely gorgeous. But of course it is very cruel, and I'm content just to see them and know they are out there (and make sure they continue to be out there!)
