Reuters schreibt GE will Additiv Druck Markt aufmischen
...US-Mischkonzern General Electric (GE) setzt mit zwei Zukäufen in Deutschland und Schweden voll auf den 3D-Druck als Zukunftstechnologie fßr den Flugzeugbau und andere Industrien. Fßr den Lßbecker 3D-Druck-Maschinenbauer SLM Solutions will der Siemens-Rivale 683 Millionen Euro zahlen, fßr dessen schwedischen Konkurrenten Arcam umgerechnet 614 Millionen Euro. "Additive Fertigung ist ein Schlßsselelement in der Entwicklung von GE zu einem digitalen Industrieunternehmen", erklärte der Chef der Flugzeugsparte GE Aviation, David Joyce, am Dienstag. GE will den Umsatz in dem Bereich bis 2020 auf eine Milliarde Dollar erhÜhen. Branchenkenner fßrchten nun, dass der Markt fßr andere 3D-Druck-Maschinenbauer eng wird....
