The two had been watching a film together, though Rosary had made it about half-way before dozing off, her head resting on his lap ( a most comfortable pillow ). She was starting to wake up at the moment, however, perhaps the ministrations of Simon’s fingers running through her locks was the cause.

😳: What embarrasses your muse ?

                Simon’s really prone to second-hand embarrassment, especially in the court-room !!! If he’s working with someone, say Athena Cykes, and she messes up big-time, he gets really embarrassed for her. Not to mention when he makes a mistake of his own. That makes him want to crawl in a hole and vanish for a good while though he’s adept at masking this ( not initially, but afterwords ). Other things that embarrass him are witnessing loud, annoying, & reckless behavior in public, being pranked on, having faults of his own pointed out, and that’s all I can think of at the moment.

Yugo was in the midst of outrunning some of his demonic pursuers! They had attacked him while he was trying to gather some food and he had no choice but to run. He wanted to fight them off but if he did, more ambitious demons vying to take his life for the title of Overlord would have shown up and overpowered him. His only choice was to flee and find somewhere else to hide...

He started jumping from portal to portal in an attempt to gain more ground from his attackers, but these demons were relentless and fast, not losing a inch in distance and steadily getting closer to the Eliatrope...

It was a pack of Mystic Beasts, demonic hounds who were the incarnations of hurricanes! The one in the front was obviously the Alpha male of this large, ravenous pack, and he let out a loud victorious howl as if to gloat that the chase had already ended. With a sudden burst of speed, the beast caught up to Yugo, who was in the middle of jumping into another portal, and swung it’s bladed horn at him!

Yugo tried to move his body out of the way, but the attack landed a glancing blow across his chest. It hadn’t dealt a lot of damage, but it was enough to send him rolling across the ground with a small bleeding gash. Yugo groaned, getting up on his feet again. His head was pounding a little and his wound stung like crazy but that was the least of his concerns. One glance told Yugo that he was completely surrounded. The Mystic Beasts had encircled him, and the Alpha was getting ready to pounce. Fearing for his life, Yugo reached into his travel bag and...pulled out a scroll! Aha! He remembered this!

The demons clearly didn’t know what the scroll could do, but they were so confident that they had won that they decided to let the boy try whatever little trick he had up his sleeve. Their hubris would be their downfall however..
