Good things that happened in 2020

I created a lot more of characters for my manga project that is slowly gaining a story and more sense.

I got a crochet plush of the main character of my story (the one that is in the photo).

Still experimenting new styles and still not knowing which one suits me better, but at least I have a bit more of anatomy confidence and I’m faster (not going physically to university everyday have helped this A LOT).

I just got a graphic tablet with screen after years that I desidered one (hoping that this won’t influence my study too much lol).

I started driving and I do more exercise since I’m always at home :v

Good things to come in 2021

I do more a “living in the present” kind of life so I don’t really have projects for the future except one but I can try:

I’ll start drawing proper manga pages (with background, screen tone, ecc…).

Do even more exercise! Because if it’s true that I won’t go back to university until 2022 my body will hate me and I will probably die lol

I want to draw a lot more of fast “simple” sketches and do at least one silly drawing per day.

If things get better and I’ll have a driving license, I will probably go away from home more often .

I’d like to start learning japanese.

There will be a solar eclipse! (Even if it will be very barely visible from here, I find astronomic events cool af)

Reflecting on MaStar Journey:

I started watching Soul Eater back in 2017 because one of my friend had all the DVD of the anime and I always though that the characters looked interesting (even if I remember that I only saw Death the Kid only once lol).

Back then I shipped only Soul and Maka.

Then I read the manga and a whole world opened to me.

You can clearly see how much Black Star cares for Maka and there are also some hints that Maka like (and canonically liked) Black Star. I “hate” the anime even for this reason among all the others.

Also, because of this ship I realized how much I like the dinamic of friends to lovers. I love seeing two people that knows each other since they were young growing up together and spend their life next to each other in order to always protect the one they love. It brings me a lot of joy UwU
