"Cybernetic enhancements, my arse" fiendal thought as he opened the previously locked door. "All right, let's see what you've got" he murmured to himself as he snuck through the room. Something to his left moved, scaring him and causing him to aim his weapon at it. "Oh, it's just you" he sighed. Looking at a small, now terrified, mouse. He got to a long hallway, and started walking down it, inspecting the doors as he passed them. "Ah! This is the one!" He quietly exclaimed to himself. Changing his arm to a lockpick, he decided to give the door a small push. And found it to be open. Inside, a small child was holding a teddy sitting in the corner. The child was alone and facing away from him, crying. He crouched down in the middle of the room. "Excuse me." The child turned around at the sound of his voice. "Are you okay?" Fiendal asks. The child said nothing and instead just stays still, stifling his tears. "Are you hurt?" Fiendal says, the boy nods and shows his arm, which has small cuts all over it. "Are there any more of you?" Fiendal questions, eliciting another nod from the child. "Lovely" Fiendal responds sarcastically. "Do you know where they are?" He asks, receiving another nod. "Can you take me to them?" He inquires. The child pauses, and begins to cry again. "Its okay, take your time. Cry if you have to." The boy slows his crying and looks at Fiendal, but makes no movement. "Hey kid, do you read comic books?" The child nods finally. "Well now's your chance to be a hero." Fiendal says and reaches his hand out to the child. The boy looks at Fiendals hand and slowly grabs it,then stands up and leads him through the hall, down a staircase, and through a corridor to a set of doors. "Are the rest in here?" Fiendal questioned. The boy nods his head. "Stay close to me" Fiendal whispers as he opens the door slowly a green light and most emerges from the room. What he saw inside made his blood boil. There were thin, tired, sickly looking children being kept in cells. Fiendal looked around, and saw a heavily bolted iron door. "Good" he thought "that's where I'll find the control panel" Without thinking he walked over to the door and slammed it open, causing a guard to jump up and raise a gun, only to be shot dead a second later. Fiendal opened the cells and gathered all the children, then walked them out of the building and to a truck that would take them to a good hospital. Fiendal walked back into the building and instead of going down, he went up the stairway that the child took him to. Knowing what he would find, he walked up to a set of heavily locked down doors. And burst them open with his weapon, when he walked inside a short, fat man assaulted him with a revolver. He quickly broke the man's arm, took the revolver and pushed him against his luxurious wooden table. "So it was you who set my subjects free?" The man roared. "Subjects? IS THAT ALL THEY WERE TO YOU?" Fiendal smaked the man with the butt of the revolver. "They were orphans! I wasn't making them any worse!" The fat man explained. Only to have a tooth on the floor a second later. The man scoffed and started laughing. "You're a hero, you won't kill me, it would look bad for you!" He gleefully said "who ARE you? I want to know who im killing tonight" A gunshot sounded through the office. The man burst laughing and said "I knew one of my guys would save me!" He went to smack his belly but felt an excruciating pain. He looked at his hand and at Fiendal. "You- you shot me!" Fiendal grinned menaically. "You wanna know why you've never heard of me?" He spat, in almost gleeful anger. The fat man shook his head "n-no. You cant- you WOULDN'T!" Fiendal pointed the revolver at the man's forehead, and pressed in the hot barrel, causing the man sweat to steam. "Its because nobody is alive to talk." His eyes narrowed, his lips pursed and his voice turned gravelly. "Dead men tell no tales" A second shot rang through the office.
