Like... Okay??? You took shrooms, hid in a closet because you got scared, and a snake woman whispered your gender to you from the cosmic void. I got blasted off sleep deprivation and grain alcohol so I could learn about gems with Prince Stolas while listening to Wagon Wheel and One Headlight in my bedroom. Two things can both be rad as hell. It's not a contest.

You either make Call of Duty, or it's so horribly bleak it's just depressing and people start pulling away. History, at least for me, provides some distance that frees you of some of the baggage in honestly portraying things. You can get away with being more directly confrontational and antagonistic to your agents and go harder on the themes you have in mind.

In the meantime, I'm perfectly happy to read the other submissions and see who wins.

Yeah, maybe people shouldn't write dogshit articles about it and circulate it then if they understand how stupid this actually is instead of mystifying it as a self-suck creepypasta for a literal-who tier content creator. I know how web scraping and search optimization works, you're just creating the conditions where bad art AI will just start using prompts from bad AI art in it's dataset until the technology is unusable. It's *literally* just AI inbreeding creating pug-ified Habsberg-baby ass results. That was going to happen anyway eventually but your just stepping at the gas at this point and it gives me the same frustration as watching someone purposefully misuse a powertool in a way that will just burn the motor out. I think AI art is a fun utility for references or digital matte painting / collage but I'm not sure how much I can suffer pseudointellectual technobabble acting like they've found a way to digitize chaos magic. Especially when you're just breaking it then acting like you're higher on the World Tree for it. You're not making AI art cooler, you're just making magic lamer.

I guess I'm posting this to say if you're out there and can't sleep too, like ships passing in the night... Hey. It's not so bad right? Maybe, sometimes, these things are meant to be and we should just roll with it instead of laying awake racked with guilt about how you can't sleep. Maybe this is a-- Do I say the S word?-- Synchronicity.

For example, I can put together a dossier of one of the villains Colonel Maup Van't Veer, clan Van't Veer, and Van't Veer's Vandals as a faction complete with statblocks and descriptions to plug in to other modules the same way The Complex includes characters like Agent Renko.

I've written longer field notes. I know that's where the challenge is but please god let my gay Mary Shelly ass get fucked up on pharmaceuticals and skirt the outermost limits of purple prose to paint a setting and drop you into my fucked up little world like a glass of ammonium that you can swim around in like a dead pig fetus.
