Came across this field barn whilst walking from Linton to Grassington in North Yorkshire.

Abandoned Field Shed - July 2020 I have a fascination with abandoned buildings that have been left to decay. Partly it is because they represent a story about their “life” and the lives of the people who built them, worked or lived in them, and finally abandoned them. But I think the primary reason is that decay and dilapidation lead to interesting patterns and colors and designs that the original builders never imagined. The way this roof has been torn apart– probably by high winds– mixes lines and curves and open spaces in a way that could not have been foreseen. The dis-used truck rusting within adds more shapes and colors. And for highlight, there are the white and light brown cattle that can be seen through the wrecked interior. Some would say it is an eyesore, but I think it has a special beauty. MWM
