I feel like that Stephen Fry in the Sandman wise and posh British old man voice has been weaponized to astounding degrees. He could say the most inane bullshit to the swelling of violins and I'm always like tears in my eyes omg so brave and beautiful, until I listen to the actual content and he's telling Daniel that it's good when depressed people die.

Rocky Mountain high

As usual, Sharon and I will see Lord Huron shows in Colorado next month on two consecutive nights - June 10 and 11.

The difference this year is that the second show won’t be at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison; it will be at Fiddler’s Green in Greenwood Village, a venue that will be new to us.

Fiddler’s has a capacity of 18,000 (7,500 reserved and 10,500 general admission lawn seats), making it the biggest outdoor venue in the Denver area.

The iconic Red Rocks, which holds about 10,000, has become a tradition for LH since the Bubs opened for Trampled by Turtles in August of 2016. They first headlined in May of 2019 and have sold out two back-to-back shows pretty much every year since then.
