me: okay so we have this Klance one-shot to work on. can we do that?
my brain: you mean the 30-something-chapter Klance fic you thought about two years ago?? the one without a complete outline??? the one that will take longer and therefore result in more Klance???? :-)
me: ...no, the... the one-shot... the one we can finish in a couple months and then show people. the short one. the easy one. because i am also trying to write a novel here, so something shorter--
