I wanna write a short fic while Iām working on my multi chapter ones. But I canāt decide what to write. Thoughts? (You know I love Tabecily and Tebecca). I want to write more Penelope but I find her so hard to write, it feels a little too self insert sometimes lol.

I think you should go with whatever story is pulling at you that you think you can get in, say what you need to say, and get out of relatively quickly. Whether that's a sexy one shot, a fluffy fic, or a character analysis. Pick a pair where you think there's something interesting to explore but just on a small way.
If you're nervous about writing Penelope, a small story might be the perfect chance. You can work of getting her out then worry about the characterization when it's on the page. When I feel like I'm losing a character's voice, especially if I'm afraid that I've just made them me, going back to the source material is a huge help. It gets their rhythms and speach patterns and habit back in your head. The closest you can get to objective observation.
