I was tagged and invited to join in on the #yarnlovechallenge, so here goes! 😄 I’m AJ, a 30-year-old Mom, Wife, and Cat Guardian from and residing in New Mexico. Before learning to yarnbend, I’d spent a couple of years wanting to and thinking I would never be able to. When I finally began, I started with knitting and was a thrower. I had THE WORST TIME trying to learn crochet, but eventually learned, got hooked (😉), and put knitting on the back burner. I picked up knitting again, almost a year later, and throwing was a thing of the past! I have been successfully knitting and crocheting ever since, created my own patterns, and bought more yarn than I can use in the next couple of decades! Yarn and yarnbending have become become a huge part of my life, as well as my Family’s life (my Son is very much a yarn addict like His ol’ Mom, and is learning to crochet; my husband has tried both crafts, but mostly just buys me all the yarn and yarn-related things), and I have met so many amazing people because of yarn (the most amazing of all, being my Sestra, @courtneydanielle92)! I’ve also grown to love all colors because of yarn, which is huge for me, as I am quite fond of black and wear it more than anything, lol. Anywho, that’s enough about me! I’m really enjoying seeing everyone’s introductions, and look forward to doing the rest of the posts this month!
