Christmas Shopping || Open
Peter rushed along the avenues, trying to find the right gifts for the people on his list. He didn’t know what to get for all of the people -- or even half of them -- but time was running out and the 25th was getting ever closer. Peter had the day off, and that meant that instead of staying in, he was out pounding the streets for things to give his friends and family.
A voice that sounded like Tony reminded Peter that online shopping was a thing, but Peter reminded that voice that there was no way he was getting those presents in time for Christmas when Christmas was six days away, even if he shelled out for the immediate delivery. Even the best service still had to go through processing and physical delivery.
Frustrated, Peter stepped into a different area, holding up the list and trying to figure out exactly /where/ he needed to be looking. He had a few gifts (he wasn’t completely clueless), but the people left on the list were both people he cared for immensely and people who were incredibly hard to shop for. He sighed, and turned around, almost bumping into someone as he did.
“Shoot -- sorry, didn’t see you,” Peter apologized, even before he knew who he was apologizing too. “Didn’t mean to.”
