Like, the original FHS is very meandering most of the time, with stuff getting brought up and then forgotten left and right, so I'm glad the rewrite has a tighter plot- but I think they're moving too quickly.

The animatronics have JUST formed, and from the moment they get together, Golden seems to gravitate towards Freddy. Cool! I think they're set up a little quickly, but Golden has always been characterize as a love at first sight kind of guy, so it makes sense... Although I would have preferred if we had a scene explaining why Golden is so into Freddy specifically like he has Amor Del Bueno in the OG FHS. It's not too big a deal though.

THEN, EPISODE 5 HAPPENS.

Golden not only feels strongly enough about Freddy to go confront the student council about it, despite being told to piss off multiple times, and then he learns about Freddy and Owynn's backstory so now he has beef with Freddy??? I think the idea of the animatronics fracturing because of Fred's past actions is really interesting and a good way to set up Freddy eventually telling them about Fred- but they barely know each other! They haven't had time to do anything together yet!! It really feels like this should be happening later in the story.
