Finding out that the same person wrote Shimousa, LB5 part 2 and OC2 suddenly explained everything about all the issues I had with them. They really like having a group of servants made evil by something or another that you have to fight one after another, they love having servants do cool one off moves that kill them, and they're the only writer that ever removes a servant from the story permanently via the whole 'link lost' or 'data lost' thing.
Not to say those parts didn't have their good points, but knowing it was the same writer just explained everything all at once.
