I just finished the Forsaken Gods’ third chapter which is Y A Y, considering I haven’t been writing for the past four months or so. I’ll put up an excerpt once I hit 20k words (maybe).
it’s all so widely different from its seven earlier versions. i usually just limit 2.5k words per chapter before, but now that i cut it at the *right moment* i’ve reached 46 pages at just the third chapter. i haven’t done that before!!
anw, i missed writing so much. i can only hope this progress continues for the rest of the month--or just the week, even.
who makes such dramatic and angsty scenes necessary for the plot but does not want to write them so writes small, light-hearted scenes instead that will probably not even make it to the novel?

finally mapped out my main antagonist (it's the second time i attempted to do it and i'd like to think he's now a scale higher than a cartoonish villain) and also now i want to write a prequel
i'm living for panday fussing over his adopted children. doing all these nice Parent Things for them even if they didn't ask for it, there's a reason why the kids respect him a lot
one of the parts i'm so excited to write about for forsaken gods is the appearance of gods and goddesses, some of them are gonna be rEAL salty, others embraced the modern culture, and still others are content to exist in their exclusive planes and worlds and if u think i'm gonna be extremely poetic and weirdly philosophical about it yes you're absolutely right hell fookin yeah
