𝐬𝐡𝐞    𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬    𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞    𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡    𝐚    𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐥    ,             sat    so    pathetically    in    the    nurses    office .             serves    her    right      for    coming    into     school    knowing    morning    sickness    had    kicked    it .             stupid    ,          𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝    ,        𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅 .                of    course    ,             she    couldn’t    talk    to    carol .                because    if    she    talked    to    carol    ,             carol    would    tell    tommy    who    would    instantly    tell    steve .                   𝚊𝚗𝚍    𝚜𝚑𝚎    𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗’𝚝    𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎    𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚎    𝚎𝚕𝚜𝚎 .                so    here    she    is    ,             sat    on    his    car    with    a    bucket    in    hand    ,          waiting    for    him    to    skip    fourth       (          which    he    always     did    on    a    tuesday       )          and    hope    he’d    take    her    home .
