1.What made you smile lately?
Seeing that I got tagged to answer these questions! And not much else... this day hasn't been going too great so far.
2.Who is your favourite villain and why (from any show, movie, story, game)?Β How do you think they became who they are?
I'm going to say Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, because not only is it really frightening how his blind acceptance of black-and-white morals leads to many innocent people being harmed or killed, but also because he's a very realistic character. He doesn't need magic or whatever to be a bad person. People like him exist today, people who will do whatever they can to make everything fit their worldview, and what's worse is that he is in a position of great power. I think Frollo became the way he is by probably growing up learning very staunch morals, and also his position of power probably corrupted him somewhat.
3.What is the nicest thing you witnessed someone do (for you, for others)?
I can't think of the nicest thing because I've witnessed so many nice things, but a few months ago, I was stressing out and crying because I was really sick and I'd missed a lot of work, so I called my mom and she helped me calm down even though she was two states away. I'm always thankful that I have such caring and kind parents. I don't know what I would've done if my mom hadn't been so supportive and understanding.
4. Last three songs that you just couldnβt stop listening to?
"Pretty Lie" by Bryarly Bishop, "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons, and "A Case of You" by James Blake.
5. Whatβs your favourite spring activity?
Not wearing an extra sweater. :)
6. Do you name your devices? If yes, what do you call them?
I gave my laptop the amazingly creative name Lappy, and I have a Jawbone (a portable speaker thing) that I call Jawbowen, or Owen for short.
7. Whatβs your hobby/passion? What do you love to do?
Mainly, I love writing and playing music (violin, piano, and a bit of guitar). I don't really get to do either very often these days, but when I do, it makes me really happy.
8. Tell me about your favourite show/episode/book/movie/anything! Write as much as you want!
One of my favorite shows is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I love it so. I really do. I've seen every single episode more than once, and I still really enjoy watching them. My first episode was the second episode when it first aired back in 2005. For a while I lost track of it, but then in high school I discovered that my best friend really liked A:TLA too, so I taped all the episodes and watched all of them. I really love all the characters and their development, and I love the animation, and I love the in-depth world-building that the show does (seriously, the Wiki page isΒ detailed as hell), and I love how most of the filler episodes have a good amount of character development, and I love how it makes me cry and laugh to this day, and I love how I can always come back to it and feel the same way I did when I first watched it, and I love how it's as much for kids as it is for adults, and I just... I LOVE IT. GAH. *explodes*
9. What places would you like to see in the future? Where would you like to travel to?
Everyone, I guess. But I especially want to see South America and more of Europe. Also, New Zealand would be awesome.
10. What do you like about yourself? And what do you feel makes you unique?
Um, I guess I like that I'm kind and sympathetic, and that makes me a good listener. What makes me unique? I dunno, my weirdness? This is a tough question.
