    [âHey, Stacey?â]
Serena was sitting in the plushiest chair in the Cave,  or rather âenvelopedâ would be a better word, as she  practically sank into it. A rare picture, she was  bare-faced and in her pjs: duckie shirt and cotton tiger  print short shorts. An enormous fluffy cream-colored  blanket pooled to one side, available for quick use should  she need to cover her legs. But Stacey had seen her scars  long ago, and the others were out on a mission they wouldnât  be back from until late tomorrow afternoon.
A hardback copy in pristine condition of Stephanie Meyerâs     Twilight, russian translation, rested in her lap. Serena held      it up for Stacey to see.
[âHave you ever read this? Robin gave it to me, told me  I âshould read it because it was one of the best modern  american literature had to offer.ââ]
She scrunched up her nose and regarded the book.
[âI trusted him of course, but then for some reason Wally    started snickering until Robin elbowed him in the ribs...â]
