Karen much? just let them do their job
Is this about the package post? You're making some pretty big assumptions for someone who doesn't know the whole story. Hell, you're making some pretty big assumptions for someone who read the post.
Fetch is a company notorious for shady behavior, and it's not the first time they've "lost" one of my packages. It is, however, the first time they "lost" one of my packages of a significant value. I had tracking information both from the vendor I bought the item from and from FedEx telling me it was delivered to the Fetch facility and signed for there.
When I messages support, I was polite, asking them to double check the packages they received that day for my name. If they'd done as I asked, they would've found it. My name was on it, and it was on the support ticket I submitted. They gave me the runaround, but every excuse they gave me was an obvious lie, so I pointed it out each time as well as the evidence that proved it.
They continued to give me the runaround for a week, closing my case three times without my consent, and I finally got to the point where I listed all of my evidence that I had and what it meant for their company, and based on the evidence, their options were basically admit to either negligence or theft if they couldn't find my package. I was polite the entire time, but I made myself clear that I wasn't going to tolerate what amounted to theft. Only once I'd backed them into a legal corner did they "find" my package.
They're in the business of making money through whatever means necessary, and the only way they were going to take me seriously was to take enough of their time that I became a liability with the potential to cost them money, so that's what I did.
I feel really sorry for you if you think standing up to predatory companies is being a Karen because you must either not have good influences on being assertive in your life, you find joy in bothering people, or you've been blinded by the capitalist arguments that turned Stella Liebeck into a villain instead of a victim.
Oh, with the added bonus of contributing to turning the term "Karen" from a valuable descriptor of racist white women using their privilege to attack and defame people of color to a misogynistic term used to attack women who have the audacity to stand up for themselves against predatory businesses and white men. I know it's an easy hole to fall into, but it's no excuse especially once you're aware.
