concept: what if Run BTS, the song, was the intro theme to  달려라 방탄, the series?

I’m really proud to be an army.

I became an army back in 2016 with the mv release of blood, sweat, and tears. I remember just thinking woah, this is art. And it really resonated with me as a 20 yr old. And I haven’t stopped loving bangtan since.

Their music and messages found me at such a dark moment in my life and have made me feel seen when I only felt alone. I remember when Namjoon gave his “use bts to love yourself” speech and I cried so hard. Because it felt like an artist acknowledged that sometimes the way we cope is through consuming other’s art.

Festa was emotional (definitely lol). But I am so proud and happy for them. BTS has always been upfront with us, and I hated how they felt guilty about needing a break. I can’t imagine the burnout they’ve been experiencing since they shot to global stardom. But if I could feel burned out in the pandemic I’m not surprised they could either. Its hard enough to go through an identity crisis as an average person, I can’t imagine having those doubts and thoughts while under a microscope.

I saw some fans comparing it to 1D “hiatus” but like that was so much more turbulent. And not communicated with anywhere close to the degree of festa. Also if I still have hopes for a reunion at some point 7 yrs on since 1D went on hiatus. You bet I’ll wait however long BTS needs.
