Although great strides have been made, there still exists a lot of mystery surrounding HIV/AIDS. As a result, there are many myths surrounding the disease. One myth is that having any contact with a HIV positive person, including hugging or shaking hands or even breathing the same air, can cause one to get infected. Other false myths are that HIV can be spread via insect bites. We must all work together to crush these myths and do away with the stigmatization of people living with HIV/AIDS! @IPSForg @FIPYPG @FIP_org @WHO #HIVAwareness #SayNoToStigma #IPSFOrg #FESPAO #AfROCares https://t.co/Z2TahDRmSX #pharmaworldtoday #medstudents #HIVAwareness #SayNoToStigma #IPSFOrg #FESPAO #AfROCares https://t.co/ix7dWYMvuw #HIVAwareness #SayNoToStigma #IPSFOrg #FESPAO #AfROCares https://t.co/eTia5iRsWI (at Bangalore, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/B6PZL2AB2A8/?igshid=mp1y1rffqjmx
