Starring Otto Vazquez in his acting and screenwriting debut, in a film directed by Sarah & David Fesiuk, an official selection of the Cannes Short Film Corner 2018. It was 1943. Kool, a Mexican-American nightclub owner sees sailors taking the streets of his East Los Angeles neighborhood on the second night of the riots. Fearing for the safety of his mother, he sets off to evacuate her from her home, only to get caught in the wake of the madness. But amiss the violence and chaos, there are good people on both sides.
