5: WAS NIGEL OVERPROTECTED / SHELTERED AS A CHILD?
not really . his parents tend to be fairly lenient with him . monty lets him do most of what he wants . his mother doesn’t seem to care much of what he’s doing so long as he’s not getting badly hurt . both his parents love him , but he isn’t smothered and definitely not overprotected .
18: WHAT HAS NIGEL FOUND / REMEMBERED FROM HIS TIMES ABROAD
nigel’s travelled abroad many times for the k n d , but he doesn’t usually stay those places long enough to have detailed memories of them . his favorite trip does have to be his trip to england with his dad , he did end up learning a good bit of slang from sector e and he deeply enjoyed exploring london . it was nice to revisit the place where he grew up , even if he so vaguely remembered it . the best memory he has of that trip is his dad taking him through a walk of their old neighborhood and showing him their old house .
19: WHAT WERE / ARE NIGEL’S BIGGEST DELUSIONS?
he has PLENTY of delusions , his belief of where babies come from , the idea victoria’s secret is an armory , even the theory that memes are a way teenagers are attempting to brainwash youth . though , for nigel it’s hard to pick out what’s actually delusional and what he’s correct about . considering that in the show he tends to me right more often than not . his CURRENT biggest delusion is within the g k n d , believing adulthood is a disease .
35: DOES NIGEL ALWAYS RATIONALIZE FAILURES? HOW DOES HE ACCEPT DISASTERS / FAILURES?
for the most part nigel always finds some rationalization for why things go wrong , and if he doesn’t he’ll usually blame himself . if there’s nothing technical and nothing to do with his team then clearly he’s at fault . he feels at fault for all failures , but he knows that most of the time there’s something deeper to it . as for accepting them , he tends to be fine with them . yes , they’re frustrating and sometimes devastating but nigel always gets back up on his feet to tackle any issue .
47: DOES NIGEL TRY TO PROJECT AN IMAGE OF SOMEONE ELSE? DOES HE WANT TO BE VISIBLE OR INVISIBLE?
nigel has a lot of role models he tries to emulate . most specifically numbuhs 100 , 274 , and 5 . he aspires to be as strategically advanced , expertly trained , and coolheaded as each one of them . of course , he doesn’t do as good as a job as he wishes to . — for a long time nigel just wanted to be another face in the crowd , but with the confidence the k n d has given him he wants to be in the spotlight . he wishes to make something of himself , be put up there with the greats . and he’s well on his way .
