Welcome to the World of Ferrin
The world of Ferrin is enriched with a deep creational history filled to the brim with Gods, betrayal, faith, happenstance, fey creatures, demons, and several great ancient secrets, as well as some far more recent ones. Many countries and the continents that contain them have sprouted up from the seas in a lava-induced rage.
Upon the arrival of the progenitor goddess, Elunia, these lands were filled with races of fantasy born from her dreams and aspirations. Additionally, she birthed other gods to fill roles and control domains and aspects of her dreamworld, creating the pantheon that reigns over the terra firm and its adjacent planes of existence. Each country and continent is now varied, multicultural, and mysterious after thousands of years of existence, advancement, slight divine intervention, and curiosity instilled their value within the various peoples of Ferrin.Â
The world and its tapestries of history are made up of many eras of strife and peace.Â
After many thousands of years, a lone wizard bereft of lichdom and acceptance from his people, ascended to godhood through mass sacrifice and banished the tyrant goddess he used to break into the ethereal realm of the gods. He then relegated the progenitor goddess to a prison realm known as Garganta where she still resides to the current day.
Now deemed the God of Night, Noctis, the Night Prince sits in his Tower of the Gods and plays with the lives and deaths of the citizens of Ferrin; inciting wars, playing tricks, deceiving and forcing believers to commit atrocities or innocent pranks, they know not which until it is too late. He holds no reverence for the position he now holds and openly invites parties of adventurers bold enough to catch onto the true histories of the world and depose him.Â
