Adora was surprised to find herself laughing, what with the situation she was currently in and the one she had been torn away from. She sat, laughing at the actions of a large, stray cat. At least, Adora assumed she was a stray since she wasn’t wearing a collar.
The feline rolled onto his back, eager for Adora to pet his stomach. She did so, unable to refuse such a request from someone so cute. Adora was so caught up in playing with the second cat she’d found, that she did not immediately notice when another woman approached. The cat beside her was completely unbothered, but Adora looked up in surprise. She wasn’t sure what to make of the citizens of this island, and couldn’t help but tense at the appearance of another stranger. Unfortunately for Adora, she couldn’t help but ramble on when nervous.
“Uhh, hi?”
“Do you... live around here, too? I saw this little guy and we just started hanging out.”
Adora kept talking, as if she needed an excuse to explain why she was playing with a stray cat to someone she’d never met.
“Or, oh wait, is he your’s? I promise I didn’t kidnap him.”
