Fangs ripped into the throat of one of them, blood coating her mouth as she ripped into them and threw them to the side. Twisting around she swiped her claws across the face of another man, having to jump backwards as he tried to shoot Ahri and she pushed her hand forward and pulled his soul forcefully from his body. The howling turned into a screech that died out as the essence of the other swirled around her. Feeding on it, she twisted around and hissed before turning golden eyes to look at Soraka.

"My sweet," Ahri whispered as she dropped to her knees. "Come on, speak to me," Her tail brushed against the face of the woman, not caring how feral she looked at the moment. - Ahri @ferallfemmes

          body  is  WEAK   :   feels  exhaustion  creep  into  her  BONE  as  she  watches  the  beautiful  vastaya  fight  and  rage  ,  rage  against  the  VIOLENCE  that  had  been  presented  to  them  .   she  rips  ,  and  TEARS  ,   and  there  should  be  a  certain  kind  of  DISGUST  rising  in  her  throat  ,   knows  it  ,   knows  it  in  her  BONES  that  it  should  be  everything  she  abhors  ,  but  ...  she  can't  .   a  warmth  blooms  in  her  CHEST  through  exhaustion  ,   a  sigh  of  RELIEF  she  didn't  know  she  was  holding  in  .    (    to  finally  be  the  one  taken  care  of   :  angel  ,   how  does  it  feel  to  retract  your  wings   ?   )     exhales  ,   but  feels  her  LEGS  give  out  beneath  her  as  crimson  splatters  across  the  FIELD  .

The concept of affection wasn't completely un-foreign to Jinx. She'd grown up with it with Silco. Even with Vi before she had left her. In both of those cases she was the one who sought it out...Asked for it when she needed reassurance. This, however, wasn't initiated by her but it was similar to the warm embrace she welcomed...

"I'm fine, really, I am." That seemed to be her mantra lately. She knew that she was faltering more than she'd ever faltered in the last few years. Her stability, she knew, was worsening. Her mask was slipping, cracking. "Did the smell of the gunpowder draw you in again?"

It's what had happened last time, when they first met. Jinx knew she was reeked of it, unapologetically. "If that's the case, maybe I should shoot a little more, huh? I'm sure I can find someone who deserves it without Silco getting all huffy."

There were things you expected while in the lanes, and getting cornered? Getting pinned to a wall? That was one of them depending on who you were, how relevant you were. Most of them wouldn't have tried with Jinx. No one wanted anything to do with the loose cannon, not if they wanted to get on her or Silco's bad side.

In a rare moment, Jinx got caught off guard and found herself in that exact position. She expected some kind one of the shimmer addicts. However, what in fact was in front of her, was something, or someone she'd never seen. Part of her was to curious as to what she was. Or rather what she had done to deserve the attention.

"Oh that's new! Love those ears." Jinx reached her hand up to poke at what looked like ears. "Let me guess, you're new and I stole something precious? Or did I blow something up?" The woman seemed intimidating, but she wasn't phased.

𝗩𝗜𝗞𝗧𝗢𝗥'𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗬 𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡'𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗞. It is his third Midnight Masquerade, and it still feels so new to him. He is so used to the storytelling in front of the fire and blood-wearing of Zaun, that the candies, games, and fact his V Coils will perform at the end of the night... unnerves him.

Mel is a welcome presence. She always has been. His closest friend and confidant: an outsider, like him.

It was her idea, after all, to dress as a raven, and he'd stuck to the idea every year. It was comforting that Mel did the same thing, too.

"Any requests for the V Coils this year, M?" he says, gliding over to her with his cane announcing his presence. On his wrist lies the bracelet he has of their matching set, and his black outfit accentuates it.

On his breast pocket lies a reminder of Zaun's festivities, a splotch of beaded blood that was embellished there by his father. A necklace showcasing blood seeping down in red, glass beads and orange pearls, makes him appear paler. Some of Entropy's actual feathers decorate his costume near the shoulders, the black, loose shirt flaring out until it reaches his corset. The raven-feathered corset straightens his posture, and the inventor wears dark pants and boots. Dark wings decorate his back. Entropy also sits on his shoulder, squawking away.

"You look wonderful, as usual."

The golden rays of light were enough to cause the woman to stir from rest. As she grew more aware of her surroundings, she felt light touches toward her left breast and collarbone. Hazy steel eyes worked to pull things into focus before the radiant look of Mel was found to be looking at her. The soft-touch was from the councilor.

A stillness and warmth radiated between them as Sevika relaxed under the gentle ministration of her lady's hand. A gentleness reserved for her appeared from the brute of a woman. "Those are from the glorious hextech you all boast for," she remarked. "Four gems total. Four of those gems destroyed what was once my arm and should have rightfully killed me and yet here I breathe. Scarred with blue tint like lightning for the rest of my life."
