[It was instinct for any being -- mechanical or otherwise -- to feel inclined to pet any adorable animal ( of course, the fact that he was possessed by a childâs spirit likely didnât help, either ). In this case, once heâd spotted a wild cat, the plastic bear couldnât help himself; his approach was almost immediate, enthusiasm surging through his circuitry like never before. It was honestly a surprise that his rushed stomping toward the tiny animal didnât intimidate it, but he was grateful that it wasnât the skittish type! Most animals wouldnât be able to handle an animatronicâs presence without feeling some degree of trepidation, let alone the practical battle cry that followed his arrival there. He hadnât intended for his voice to be so thunderous, but heâd been a bit overwhelmed by how thrilled he was that this kitty wasnât running away! Whoops.]
[Following his roar of a request, however, the cat lingered in the same spot, seemingly contemplating his words; after a moment of anticipation and curiosity from the bearâs end, the feline finally made a move. It brushed up against his plastic leg, then glanced up toward him -- was that the nudge of approval? It had to be! He was about to pet a cat for the first time in his incredibly short robotic life! A wave of giddiness washed over him, and his mouth opened to resemble what hopefully came across as a smile, eyes widening with pure joy.]
--Â â Youâll let me? Thank you -- I promise, Iâll be real careful! â [With that, he crouched down on his plastic knees and reached out toward the cat, various clicking noises echoing from his body with every motion; he needed to be extremely cautious here, considering that he weighed a ton and he could easily be capable of crushing the poor thing. So, as delicately as he possibly could, he tried to brush the catâs rugged fur with one of his paws -- not that heâd be able to feel it, being an animatronic and all.]
