So one of my best friend’s has a six-year-old son who loves LEGO, and he knows I’m into it and he knows I have friends who are into it, and he knows I have one friend who works for LEGO. Every time I see this kid (L), he wants to say hello to the master builder he’s never met, and send set requests, and wants to look at the pictures of my friend’s creations even though he has seen them a hundred times. Today, my friend asked me what the “master builder’s” job title was, because L starts school tomorrow, and his first task is to tell the class what he wants to be when he grows up. She told me that L said wants to be a LEGO designer, just like my friend.

A shoutout to ferainart for always being open and receptive to the requests and words of a six year old, for encouraging creativity and play. Nothing makes me happier than to see this kid smile.
