Inherent Miami Vice. Fender Japan continues to blow minds and break hearts. These Art Canvas Esquire models with artwork from Hiroshi Nagai were limited to 30 instruments each as an online-only offering (not for US buyers, and not even sure what territories outside Japan, if any, got a crack at these). Larry/Lorry's current custodian, #Toronto luthier and all around good guy, @alastair_miller, was kind enough to let me photograph him/her at @dlott65's #UnionSound Nuclear Tone Explosion and Meet Up, hosted by Toronto producer/recordist/guitar player extraordinaire @chriswstringer8 and attended by some of Canada's best known musicians, luthiers, and collectors a couple of weeks ago.

A 50s #Fender flashback with this Esquire, in the perfect shade of blonde, spotted back in early 2020 at @capsulemusic, #Toronto. Guitar shopping, a pastime I used to indulge in every Saturday and have missed so dearly during the pandemic, is so close again I can taste it!
