Kicking off the new year by redesigning a very old OC of mine...from way back in 2010! Thanks to Tales of Radium having a variety of alien races (yes, aliens), I decided that itād be a good idea to recycle my baby girl.
For those who donāt know, she was my first fursona back when I was still known as āMossyā and was technically my first original OC (or, at least one of the very first OCās I had, dating back to 2010). In the old version, she was a special race of cats known as āClova Catsā, and while I canāt really remember for the life of me what her backstory used to be, I know that it was clichĆ©ād as all get out and I really donāt want to talk about it.
In Tales of Radium, her real name is Maira Ritter, but was earned the nickname āMossfaceā due to her characteristic face blotch resembling a patch of moss. Hailing from Brightvale Village in the Chellupia region, sheās one of the āNightmare Killersā, which are basically a band of hunters who are on a constant mission to hunt down and eliminate a group of monsters known as Nightmare Phantoms. Mossface is clumsy, a master procrastinator and really terrible at her job, but makes up for it with her agility and her ability to combine her shapeshifting and Wood-elemental Summon magic, making her a force to be reckoned with. Despite carrying a sword with her at all times, you will never see her using it in combat. Instead, the swordās only usage is to deliver the finishing blow to a Nightmare Phantom, severing its final ties with the mortal plane.
Expect her to show up sometime in Tales of Radium, if not The Legend of Gamiserun (or its sequel, if I do plan on writing one).
