Who... was this girl again? Something about her strikes him as familiar, so she would be ... one of the staff members, probably. Yeah.
Alter meanders through this train of thought, taking his time puzzling out who she would be and if he remembers her name or would have any reason to. (The answer to those is both ‘no’.) Throughout all of it, he remains staring silently down at her -- by all appearances, judgmental and annoyed at something with her, though entirely because that’s how Alter’s face almost always looks.
“Ah...,” he finally voices. “Is there? I forgot.” A nap, mostly. He could do with a nap. No, wait, so long as there’s someone here. (She might be angry at him, but it’s something he parses and then immediately chooses to disregard as irrelevant.) “Directions. I don’t know this part of Chaldea, I ended up here somehow.” He was merely wandering aimlessly, and now he’s ended up. Somewhere.

He DID grow to have some form of care for his Master, which was unusual for him.
Rolling his eyes, the Alter let out a frustrated sigh. It’s true, she wouldn’t really be sleeping with him if she planned on ditching him. “..Good grief, why the hell do you even want a Servant like me? I get it, I’m strong, I’m not easy to beat. But I sure as hell don’t know the first thing about being nice or being gentle. I don’t know how to express myself fully. I’m pretty much a monstrous walking weapon -- so why is it you seem to care so much about what I think?”

He stands as still as possible once her arms were wrapped around him – it happened quickly; she came out of nowhere, tears just soaking her face and dripping to the ground. It seems as though she ended up snooping on him and hearing everything he said – that’s a..pain in the ass, but honestly? He’s glad she heard it…he’d probably struggle repeating it to that degree.
“Selena –” Placing his hands onto her shoulders, he lets out a breath and just gives in – now wrapping his arms around her.
In the middle of their embrace, he lifts her up and holds her against him, allowing one of his arms to now lay under her rear to hold her up whilst the other took hold of her hand and brought it to his mouth.
“..Stop crying, idiot.” Muffled due to her hand, he gently nuzzles against her palm. Ensuring that she LEAVES her hand against him, he reaches out and wipes both of her eyes with his index finger.
“..Don’t make me repeat the fact that I love you, got it..? It was hard for me to even figure out how to say it..”
