â ugh, i canât wait to get all this icky slime off of me ! â cordelia lamented as she turned the faucet on in the shower, preparing a bath for the both of them. â that demon really came out of nowhere, didnât it ? â
@feigenburkleâ ~ replied for Faith
âAngelâs not around, huh?â she shrugged as she moved to the nearest seat and plopped down. Despite having crossed several state lines, Faith wasnât tired yet as she leaned towards Fred with a mischievous grin. âSo what kind of things can you do for fun around here?â It wasnât like she couldnât think of a million things already, but she wanted to see what sort of thing Fred was into. If Angel kept her around, there had to be more to her than being an adorable little Willow-fangirl. Right?
Plotted starter for @feigenburkleâ
The Hyperion hotel was large by any standards, which merely meant more room for Dawn to explore, more opportunities to stay out of the way. Sheâd only been staying here a short while, unable to face staying in Sunnydale after what happened to her sister, so sheâd packed a bag and left, telling nobody. Sheâd left a note but sheâd known that wasnât enough, that sheâd risked her safety to travel to LA in the middle of the night, but she also felt it worth it. If sheâd told anyone about her plans, if sheâd asked to do it? theyâd have stopped her.Â
Of-course, her plans hadnât gone entirely as expected with Angel unforseen absence, but sheâd pleaded her case to Wesley and heâd granted her wish to stay, at-least for now. She was trying to stay out of the way for now, not wanting them to regret the decision, no matter how much she wanted a distraction and wanted to help in any way she could. Which is precisely what leads her to exploring the many rooms and hallwayâs the hotel had to offer. A noise from one of the residential rooms causes her to pause however- it almost sounded like- scraping? footsteps slow before finally coming to a stop quietly outside the room. Curiously, she stands out, head tilted, ear pressed towards the door, before taking a step backwards, reaching out to knock on the door. â Hello-? â she calls curiously.Â

â Are these bites going to turn me into a vampire? â @feigenburkleâ
         âNah, fang marks are too far apart. Means this guy was the wrong species. Gotta drink his blood first, then thereâs that pesky DYING-WITH-IT-IN-YOUR-SYSTEM thing. Itâs a whole process, youâre good. The ones you wanna avoid are them bald-ass, buck-toothed GRANDPIRES.â

@feigenburkle // Fred
Before her dear old friend can even spot the newly arrived guest and promptly steal them away for the rest of the evening, Valerie makes a beeline through the standing crowd in the living room towards the open door. Winifred has come to dazzle everyone with her collarbones, it seems, and give the vampire a seriously hard time keeping her eyes anywhere deemed appropriate. How long since they'd seen each other? Could you believe they hadn't met since that first gathering at Al's? It could be so hard to flush these introverts out of their nests â she's surprised the woman showed up all the way across the world for this. Wesley must be pulling extra shifts.
"An adventurous dress choice for a place where the sharp-toothed kind are welcome." Valerie comments sotto voce in Fred's ear while volunteering to take her coat, immediately getting a breathful of her delectable fragrance. Melia is kind enough to take the garment away and the vampire steps in line with the brunette while delicately curling an icy hand around her shoulder. First stop would be the drinks cart. "Lovely to see you again, dearest. Where did you parachute from, this time?
@feigenburkleâ // fredâ
Hereâs a rare thing: a face she doesnât know.
Valerie had noticed her before off the corner of her eye, felt, like a prickle on the skin, the furtive glances the young woman had cast her way, a timid spell waiting to unfurl, held back by an inexperienced hand. Interesting. She had spent so long talking to Wesley, all timid laughter and niche jokes, covering domains far beyond the vampireâs interests (but not unworthy of her respect) â plus the overwhelming aura of untapped potential that glowed around them... darlings. Something tragic there, perhaps? Had Wesley not given the girl a chance, heart too tied to some other lugubrious lover?Â
Oh, she restlessly wonders. Arthur knew the girl too; how come they hadnât been introduced?Â
It isnât until well past midpoint that Valerie finds an opening in the shape of this gorgeous thing sitting all alone on a sofa outlooking the garden, cradling what seemed to be a cup of hot cocoa between both hands. A crime, really. A bigger crime would be Valerie passing up the opportunity to slide into the seat right next to her, still clutching her whiskey glass like a crutch, all sharp angles and svelte limbs snug in black velvet.Â
âSo what did our dear Wesley tell you about me?â
FRED | @feigenburkleâ
     While the brunette had repeatedly claimed that she was feeling well over the course of the outing, thereâs an elevated degree of concern that grips Wesley, the man remaining close by and watchful in case anything untoward were to occur. He still thinks this is far too soon, more tests required to discern for any parameters that could affect her condition, gut wrenching scepticism and malaise ever present ( & they say resurrections are a joyous occasion... ).
          âAre you alright? How are you feeling?â A glass of water is waved in her direction. âWe donât have to stay for long if youâre out of sorts---â
