The conclusion had been better than you’d both hoped for. You’d been set up in a cave for a perigee or two now while he adjusted to the prosthetics and whatever vile toxin he had to take to numb the pain. He slept most of the time and your undying anger had luckily not led to anyone knowing you were here. Well, the blues did. They had helped with food and kept you up to date on enough things. You try not to think hard on it though. Your thoughts are dark and your pain is hidden. You have a better thing for your dark thoughts now.
