#my art #Been awhile since I've gotten to post anything #Feels good #I hope I can be more active soonish #although I'll probably never be as active like I was back in 2023 #Anyways #Maybe a little tag ramble #as a treat #wanted to make some art of some other things I've been enjoying besides rain world #the PHM book had me shambles #and I turn into a little goblin whenever I hear the film's soundtrack. The use of instruments + vocal themes and leitmotifs is fascinating #Pemberton in an interview was all like: Oh yeah there's some motifs but they're kinda vague and just there #Ok mr I'm going to take the 4 note motif for death and fear and use it as a hopeful melody #Ok mr the idea behind the squeaky tap motif is that the universe is a self aware entity that already knows the end of the story and is #having empathy and pity for grace when he struggles #I have the full soundtrack in a davinci file with every notable instrument and motif documented- it's almost done #The other is CU #Saw it and thought oh hey yeah this looks kinda niche and fun #and then I realized the demo was free and proceeded to go down a rabbit hole #I have amassed 80 something hours in a week and a bit #which is levels of playing time that only rivals rainworld's 2400 something hours in 3 years #ALSO has a banger soundtrack #ironizing is very good #I cannot afford to play anymore I have uni things to do #Oh and a little scribble (oc)
