The Best Restaurant You’ve Never Heard Of
Tiny Tiki Hut • Playa del Carmen
We found a little restaurant called the The Tiny Tiki Hut a few blocks off 5th ave in Playa del Carmen. We met the owner and chef Juan whose a Puerto Rican from New York who moved to Mexico to open an Asian/Mexican inspired restaurant.
His staff and service was great, and it was like talking to a lifelong friend. He cried and slaved over the menu until it was perfect, and we’re more than thankful he did. The food was some of the best we’ve had. It was our hands down best restaurant in Playa.
