Turry's tips on feeding yourself: volume 1
-stock up on starchy food. like bread and noodles and potatos and all that crap. they're pretty good at making you full and they usually taste plain by themselves so you can decide how they're going to taste by putting whatever bullshit you want.
-if you aren't good at eating food fast then i recommend buying the frozen variety of a perishable (famous examples: vegetables). frozen food spoils way less, though it comes with a downside of being more annoying to prepare and tasting a little less than it would in its prime freshness... but at least it isn't rotting.
-same applies to canned food.
-if you steam a vegetable enough it gets mushier and is easier to chew and swallow. the texture+taste will change a bit though so if you're sensitive to that then be careful about that and experiment.
-if you like rice get a rice cooker. even if its cheap (i got mine for 20 dollars) it'll save you a lot of trouble because once you fill it up with rice it does everything for you.
-soup is easy to swallow and fills you up pretty fast and usually involves boiling bullshit for a long time. it's usually not that hard provided you follow instructions (because unlike baking cooking loves you and will kiss you in the stomach for following its instructions)
-if you have easy access to rice i also recommend porridge
-sauce can change the whole game. for example, applesauce is good for masking flavors, while soy sauce is good for adding extra flavor. i recommend experimenting if you need to eat something but the food you have on your plate is fucking nasty.
