On the list of services Lexie Grey wanted to work on today, OB/GYN was not at the top whatsoever.  She knew the specialty was important, it just wasn’t for her, but Dr. Montgomery had requested her.  And a resident couldn’t exactly say no to the request.  Lexie had grabbed a coffee and reviewed the chart while she waited for Addison to arrive from the practice across town.  “Good morning Dr. Montgomery!” Lexie greeted when she saw the woman coming across towards her.  Lexie extended the chart to her.  

zed had been pretty bored the last couple of weeks, trying to find things that filled in his time. football was a good start but even then he was bored afterwards. he let out a small sigh as he walked the streets, hoping to bump into anyone he remotely knew. a small smile slipped onto his lips as he noticed the familiar mop of head further down the street. “addie?” he questioned, moving closer towards the other, excitement building in his stomach. “addie!” he called out again, when he got closer to the other he pulled her into a hug, a sigh of relief washing over him. “i can’t believe it.” he muttered, leaning his chin on top of the others head. 

addison smiled brightly, nodding her head, “right. that’s me,” she told him, holding out a hand in greeting. she always felt like she was behaving as upbeat and bright as she could, as though if she wasn’t always happy, she’d be letting someone down. “nice to meet you. ron, yeah?”

ron nodded his head, the girl seemed chipper enough to make the occasion not dreadful. “i guess i should be thanking the professor i got stuck with you and not the kid who picks his nose at the back of the class?” he joked lightly taking up seat across from her. “did you have a topic in mind?”

ron looked down at the paper in his hand before looking back up at the other. “it’s addison right?” he asked hopefully, arching a brow at the other. “i think you’re supposed to be my study buddy.” he commented, placing his satchel down on the table. “hope that’s not an issue.”

His hand rubbed over his face. Clearly, this was a dream. There was no way Addison Montgomery was standing at his door, professing her love to him. Mark couldn't help but glance over his shoulder to check the time. Nearly 3 am. He reached for her arm and gently pulled her into his apartment. "Why are you out so late? What's going on? Are you alright?"

Jackson rounded the corner and saw Addison standing at the nurses station.  She was likely looking for Mark if she had come to the hospital and was hanging around the plastics department.  “He’s in surgery with Goldman.  Probably going to be awhile,” he shrugged.  Mark had picked Josh over him, and Jackson had been trying not to pout while he completed rounds and updated charts.  “I’d ask if there was anything I could help with, but doubtful.”

“Oh come on Addie, it really can’t be that bad,” Lucas said coming up beside the woman.  “I mean I know the lake isn’t exactly your idea of fun, but it can be fun if you just give it a fair shot,” Lucas insisted with a smile.  “It’s good to see you again.  We haven’t run into each other at work yet since my arrival.”
