The weekend before last I played at @skirmish_the_stan with @carmon.airsoft @gijoeski @the.cats.pjamas and @1legion.uk_fiercefox. It's a huge 4 level warehouse and office building that's been turned into a CQB site and I have to say... it's bloody brilliant! They've done a great job at funnelling play through various sections of the site and creating really intense and high pressure gameplay. Personally, didn't enjoy the few games in the CQB maze... pointblank overkill isn't hugely fun for first time players at the site... will probably sit out of that one next time. FINALLY decided to ditch the grey hoodie now that it's SCORCHING! What dya think? Now I'm not just plaid in my daily life... I guess I've joined the lumbersexuals? At the Midlands Airsoft Fair a few weeks ago, I planned on only getting some parts... but because of my love for my EVO (pictured), when I came across @steve_brind_ selling one with an EVO case, a @yetiwurks quick mag release and a PDI tightbore inner barrel for £200... well that's a steal for an EVO. So then and there I took it. The only things I need to replace are some rusted body screws and a set of EVO sights but beyond that it all looks and shoots great! It's also converted @1legion.uk_fiercefox over to the Scorpion EVO darkside!!!
