#feature test

This was originally meant for Bluesky, but I'm posting it here anyway.

Just trying out the Media Capture feature in DuckStation with a bunch of "quick" loadstates I made for myself to select games/demos faster (I'm lazy as hell btw :P). Sorry if it gets out of sync.

Here, it's shown with a collage of Euro Demos, the first few of which I happened to own/rented from others (especially from one of my cousins who had introduced me to the then-new PSX in early childhood), the last few are just filler to pad out the 1 minute limit.

As for the states themselves, well, I do that every so often whenever I get really bored. Here's an exclusive look of the folder (and the virtual retrogaming taskbar! :O More on this later, idk). Not to brag or anything, I just wanted to show you how it was done. :P

Twitter is great. But when you start following some accounts, chances are you may follow some duds or of some friends or of your company, etc, your Timeline (Twitter Feed)  is clogged up by these very accounts. (more…)

Continuing my work in Rails, this past week I worked on implementing some Feature Specs using RSpec and Capybara.

Although I've heard about Capybara (the gem) I was curious about the name. I have a problem with learning a tool without knowing why it has some weird name. Apparently a Capybara is a very large rodent. Cute yes? I really wish I had thought of that awesome name.

What I took away from working with Capybara...

- Capybara has it's own DSL.

- Learning some XPath will come in handy.

- Use helpers to clean up your code.

- Use Launchy to debug and view what Capybara is viewing.

- The save_and_open_page method will allow you to open the page in the browser. Its a rather long method name which is why I wrote it here.
