"tifa, you don't really have to." it was ultimately his fault he got hurt. he meant to protect tifa knowing fully well, that she could have handled it on her own, but... gentleman he was, he needlessly stopped the drunkard only to have him suddenly pull out a knife. knowing a few martial arts moves himself, he resolved the situation somehow but not without a few bruises and cuts. still, absolutely nothing he needed help with. "you know it's my fault, i got overprotective---i mean, i was worried and just kinda jumped the gun."

he couldn't really say he felt protective for that meant he'd see tifa as more than just a friend and... while that may be the case, he should certainly not push the issue. biggs should learn more from tifa and maybe even challenge her to a small match.

"There she is~" He smiled, fingers gently curling round her hand. She'd just gone through IT - it being a horribly traumatic situation that had a high probability of going shit the bed, so to speak. He didn't want to do anything to shake the boat too much, but neither could they linger for long. He guided her without forcing her to the best of his abilities.

"Thought I saw someone hunker down this way. Quick thinking! That was a nasty beasty~" Had probably been aiming to swoop her up, carry her to some waiting nest somewhere.

Eyes twinkling with joy, Aerith glances to the other in clear delight to be told such a thing. She’s got more than a few years of experience under her belt, sure, but hearing such a compliment from Tifa just makes her feel all giddy inside. 

“Oh - you’ve got a little dirt,” she adds, hand lifting to her own forehead to gesture where the smear had been left. Her cheeks dimple with withheld laughter, and after a moment, Aerith simply cleans her own hand with a couple wipes on her dress before moving to take care of it herself. A few swipes of her thumb, and Tifa’s mostly good as new.

         Cloud turned at the brush of something against his hair, and then blushed when he saw Tifa so close to him. “Wha-?” He started to ask until he saw a flash of color out of the corner of his eye.

Aerith was PRETENDING she was doing fine, but visiting Gongaga had been much more painful than she had thought. She still couldn’t believe what she had heard from Zack’s parents; she felt like her heart was about to explode inside her chest. She had felt him return to the Lifestream, of course, but she still wanted to know what had happened to him... He hadn’t given up on her, had even told his parents he had a girlfriend. She hated to admit it, but at this very moment, she MISSED him.

She was sitting alone, once they had installed the tent, and was lost in her thoughts when Tifa approached him. She didn’t say a word when the other girl hugged her, but she quickly hugged her back and closed her eyes, fighting the TEARS that could come way too easily. 

“Is everything alright, Tifa ?” She asked softly. Of course, it was easier to ask such things than to actually talk about what was on her mind. 

Aranea had arrived in that world quite recently, and she had noticed Noctis and his friends were there, too, but were also surrounded by other people coming from different worlds similar to theirs. She wasn’t sure she understood everything, but if she was requested to fight, she would do it witout hesitation. She had been a commodore, after all.

People were talking too much though, trying to take a decision of where to go first. Aranea had been part of the conversation at first, but the others seemed to complicate everything way too much, so she had left and sat on a rock instead. When she saw the other approach, she couldn’t help but smirk.

{๑۩۞۩๑} Jane wasn’t sure how she had managed to stay alive so long. 

For awhile after Sora’s little visit, things for awhile was just back to normal. She never saw any other keybladers, any others besides those she lived with for so long. And then these...creatures started appearing.

Normally the woman was little bothered by animals of any kind. Not even the hungry tigers, to which still she avoided, but never ran. In fact, running from tigers was a mistake albeit too common. But these things....it started with small, scrawny little figures with stick-like limbs, this black haze surrounding and following them and large, bright yellow eyes, no iris, no pupils, no eyelids. 

First it was one. And then ten. And quickly hundreds. Her first question was what they were, though her first instinct: Run. They devoured Tantor first, so easily startled in the growing commotion, and somehow, these things still easily engulfed him, and soon joined the chase. No one was safe of it. Everyone had been scattered through the world, and she didn’t know who all was still alive. 

She had taken to hiding for days, though she was getting hungry. She was thirsty. Everything of settlement was back in the main “lodging”, where all her belongings remained. It seemed whatever these things were, they were best at night- though even during what was once day, they didn’t mind camping. It was getting hard to tell what time it was anymore.
