Audre Lorde

So after stopping at the local grocer's he picked up whatever items he would need and headed back to his apartment. It would only take less than a half hour to cook the noodles and even less time to make the hot dogs. So after he got home he put the stuff on the counter and popped opened a beer before pulling out a pot and pan. Turning on the television he took a long gulp of his beer as he stood in front of the stove. Once he had finished his first beer he heard the doorbell go off and cringed at not being done yet. Making his way to the door he opened it with a smile "Come on in,seems I'm running later than I imagined"

"It's good to see you! How are you?"
