Eric’s eyes opened slowly. The previous morning had been a bit of a blur. It was clear, though, from the dried blood around his ears that the viking hadn’t been asleep when the sun rose. He remembered a feeding party at... Some vampire’s home. Feeders with their blood filled with all sorts of drugs and alcohol, drunk vampires mixing blood that already had a mixture of substances. Eric hadn’t had that much fun in a very long time.

       It came out of no where. One minute she’s walking down the street towards her apartment, the next - she’s somewhere else entirely. In that moment, it felt like the floor fell out beneath her, and the air around her disappeared. A panic rose in her like she hadn’t felt since the night she died. Then it stopped. She stumbled a bit, narrowly avoiding falling over completely. Everything around her had changed. Her mind struggled a bit, trying to catch up to the sudden scenery change and she realized that she recognized the place.

       ⊰⟝⊰ Taking in a deep breath, she closed her eyes and let herself stand stock still for a few seconds counting the beats of her heart trying to force it to quiet itself in her chest. She wasn’t stupid as much as what she was about to do suggested otherwise. Opening her eyes, she glanced first up at the sky and then to her phone to see the time. 3:30pm. Plenty of time.

                Bella lifted up the bottom of the chain link fence where she’d casually been digging around back out of sit of traffic for the last hour. Inside the shrubbery she stashed the piece of roof tile she’d used as a makeshift shovel ( it look as innocuous as anything else she might have found and wouldn’t give her away straight off ) . Once under the fence and on the property it was easy enough to get inside the mansion perhaps because she knew enough secretive vampires to get in easy enough. And these ones weren’t even up in the day! 

                The plan? To sneak in and have a poke around the high and might sheriff of Texas’ quarters and get out again before she was noticed. The hair on the back of Bella’s neck was already standing up. The brunette was stood inside the entry way slowly circling as she let her eyes take it all in. She’d thought the Cullens’ home had been exquisite-- she could think his name now with just a twinge, there had been so many stupid trips and bumps and steps since then and there was this whole other world of vampires he’d never told her about!-- but this was something entirely different. 

   Amelia looked up at the fellow infront of her, eyes meeting his in a moment as they drifted from the crimson colour pooling in her hand. Regaining her posture the brunette tried to find her pride, shift away the fear unaware of the true reason that she was in fact coughing up what kept her walking. Taking out a cloth from her pocket she wiped her hand clean before placing it back still not saying a word to the stranger. Not until she was perfectly fine about herself, standing on her heels brushing down the jacket she wore. “What is it too you? People used to cough up blood all the time, not that uncommon though I guess in the last few hundred years since they cured the sickness it has been.” Tilting her head she realized in the haze she was rambling a little.
