FE3H Fan Kiddo Meet up/Headcanons.
I only own Rhys, Guinevere is owned by @octolingonextgen
I will probably do the rest of their characters, esspecially any of the lion cubs. And eventually my own lion cubs but that's gonna be after I get their art commissioned/come up with their designs.
I'd say pretty well. I mean, as well as two future royal heads can get along. Rhys is a bit off put by Guinevere's personality at first. And her height. He's never met anyone else (other than his father and Dedue) who's around his height. Much less someone who reminds him of his father. They probably bond a bit over the fact that Dimitri is overwhelming protective.
Would they get along with one another?
And the fact that she likes to wrestle. Not that he thinks women cant or shouldn't but because Guinevere can absolutely body slam him and he can't do anything about it XD. Not that Rhys can't fight back or won't but he also knows when he's at a disadvantage. He does understand why she dislike any/all of the royal duties that come with their bloodline.
Rhys may try to take her with him during a wyvern ride. He deeply loves the creature and is always happy to share his love with anyone who will listen long enough. He makes the promise to not let Guin fall off the wyvern, that she needs to place enough faith in him. Whether or not she does so is up to her.
"Come on, don't be so hestaie. You will be fine. This wyvern is my personal one, her name is Xorra. She likes people, here, give her this treat and she'll nuzzle her face into your hand. That's how she shows she likes you"
Rhys actually enjoys his royal work, it keeps him busy, makes him want to learn about the past more and more. And to help plan for the future. I'd feel like Rhys would be a bit concerned that she dislikes Dimitri to a degree. That would be one of the reasons the pair might get into a disagreement or even a fight (whether its physical or verbal). Although he's rather poor at verbal fights...he will try his best though.
"I understand why you may dislike him but that's still not a good reason to treat someone such a way. Father-he's been though a lot, he's done a lot. I don't know all the details of his past but i know that he's still haunted by them. I hope that one day you two can make peace but please understand that i only want to help so if i'm out of line please tell me and we shall never speak of this again"
Rhys does his best to help Guinevere even if she doesn't need nor want his assistance, especially in something she may dislike or isn't very good at. Perhaps a good smack on his head will do the trick. As kind and sweet he may be, he's also just as stubborn. He's well aware that he should harden himself more if he's to be the next king once Dimitri steps down but he just...can't bring himself to he cruel to anyone even if its deserved. Even with all his power and status, he doesn't want to harm anyone.
Once as a child, Rhys accidentally broke another child's arm while playing from pushing them too hard. That's how he became horrified at his own powers. That was also the day his parents had to explain to him what his crest was and what comes with having such a powerful one like his. Due to this, even with the other children from the Blue Lions, he doesn't have many friends. He wants to have many but his fear of accidentally breaking another's bones keeps him at bay.
I believe that's all I can think of. Please feel free if Guinevere seems out of character, I tried my best to keep her personality (from what you've told me) in mind.
