“how do you know if it isn’t working anymore?” she felt guilty even having this conversation with caio, mainly because her boyfriend wasn’t even in the same country to defend himself. even so, he felt like the only one who understood what she was going through, seeing as he himself had been a long distance relationship too. it only made sense to confide in him.

these days, it was rare for aurelia to get any time off but today was one of those lucky days and she had a very particular way that she wanted to spend it. “come back to bed,” she murmured, leaning herself down over where they sat and letting her arms slide around them. her lips pressed against the side of their neck before turning up into a little smirk. “i think there’s something in it for you if you do...”

she’d been scrolling through her phone that morning in bed when she noticed it  — the clue app. addie couldn’t recall a time in close to six or seven weeks when she’d clicked on it and when she checked, the math ended up. she was late, like two missed periods late. a quick trip to the supermarket and five pregnancy tests later, she text richie and asked him to come over. not unusual, they spent plenty of time just hanging out with one another but what was unusual was that the second he arrived she barely even knew what to say to him. she was sat on her couch just staring, her lower lip being rather harshly pulled between her teeth. “we need to talk about something... important.”

tessa wasn’t exactly thrilled to be at a party in the first place. tears were shedding down her face as she sat on the bathroom floor, trying to calm herself. unfortunately for her, she was a little too intoxicated. with a red solo cup in her hand and her phone in the other, she was scrolling through pictures of her and her now ex. suddenly, a figure flung the door open. “ hey ! ocupado ! ” 

“  this  doesn’t  have  to  be  all  bad.  just  turn  yourself  in.  ”  a  pause  ensues.  “  now.  ”

IF THERE WAS ONE PLACE in the world that bambi loves more than cupcakes, maman’s brownies or even all things pumpkin spice. six flags. the first time she’d ever gone was their first date and it’d quickly become their go to date spot, “ c’mon ! ” she whined in a sing songy voice dangling the tickets in front of their face. “ the flags are calling, we can ride some roller coasters, eat some funnel cakes, make out on the ferris wheel. i’ll even win you a stuffed bear this time. ”
