A fun girls night was long overdue between the witches, for one reason or the other they've kept pushing it forward and never really managing to get through it. Until tonight when, magically indeed, they shared an open spot on their schedules. Already a couple of drinks in, Agatha let herself fall on the bed, tapping the spot beside her for Rita to join. A serious note to her voice, she turned to look at her friend, giving a nod of her head as she stated the next words. "Darling, it's time we got to have that talk."

It was after hours and the siblings had agreed to meet up first. However, she had asked her brother to arrive first before their sister would join them. Ros knew that her younger siblings were adults and that they had to make decisions for their own. She hadn't been able to stop Anthony joining the Order, but maybe she could stop Bea from it. But she was going to - hopefully - need her brother's help with that.

Ros placed a drink in front of her younger brother and she leaned against the bar. "We need to talk about Bea wanting to join the Order. I know we can't tell her no because we both are helping out. But I don't want her near the Order. We both know how dangerous it can be, why should we expose our last sibling to it as well?" She said to Anthony, wondering what his opinion was on it.

Unusual as it could ever be, receiving an owl from an old classmate, one with whom you never gotten along nor understood properly, Marlene decided the offer was one she shouldn't decline. For instance, curiosity was stronger than she'd be willing to admit, the words written on paper ambiguous and inviting. Not beating around the bush any longer than she should, the witch made her way over to the suggested meeting spot, finding the other already seated on a table by the window. A deep breath taken before she joined her, the blonde's eyes fell heavily on Estelle. "You'd like to talk, that's what your letter said, and you mentioned Dorcas?"

“I know I’m not allowed to ask you to help you out, but I am very grateful that you are doing so for a bit.” Cleaning up after themselves after finishing a drink was something the guests hadn’t gotten into unfortunately. And even though magic was a thing, sometimes a set of extra hands was good to have. “Once this is done, I will let you return to the party,” she said to her sister as they were standing in the backroom of the Three Broomsticks, to pick up some extra bottles of alcohol. For a moment Ros stayed silent before looking at Bea again. “I saw Edgar is here. What’s the status of that with the two of you right now?”

Blessed to have as many trustworthy and caring friends as she did, Marlene sometimes found it even harder to share her burdens considering the good people surrounding her. It wasn't her intention to overwhelm them with her issues nor concern them with her current state, being much easier to play the part and reassure them every chance she got. They all knew the truth though, respectful enough not to push, but it was plain obvious even if she did a hell of a work hiding it. Everyone could tell, even those who didn't know her all that well.

Christmay day at the office had proven that much, another witch staying there late, different motives of course. Hestia had asked and offered, even if a chance, the brunette hadn't dismissed it right away-- now finding herself at the other's place for a cup of tea instead of a heavy drink, and somehow that felt like a small victory for her. "Thank you for having me over, love. Not too good at this sharing bit, actual honest sharing, but I'm willing to try." She admitted, taking a seat on the couch and turning her face to look at her coworker. "Perhaps we can both share and keep it between these walls? Would that work, you think?"

I do not tell you often enough how important you are to me and just how valuable your support has always been. I could not be proudest to have you as my other half. Charity didn't exactly get along with people, a bit obnoxious at times and disinterested in general, she believed most times it wasn't worth the effort. There were still a few who she'd managed to charm and who she didn't totally abhor. Estelle had been one of those few, the witches forming a strange kind of bond as they shared classes here and there back at Hogwarts-- she might have not been a kind person but she was definitely smart, and carried herself with sarcasm that could be appreciated by some as funny enough. The other witch had seen through it all and today she was, perhaps, Charity's only female friend. "Don't you get annoyed when people try and have friendly chats, ask about your life and whatnot, when you've only seen them eventually and haven't even talked to them? That happened to me today and I'm not particularly inclined to deal with them. Is it just me? Am I that weird?" The question genuine, as everything she ever said, she waited for a reply right when the waiter arrived with their order.

She'd had the most marvellous night ever, all her dreams coming true in what seemed like a split second. The wizard she loved had finally proposed to her in the way she'd always wanted, and Agatha was now more than happy to say she was betrothed. She went pass the crowd, quickly thanking people as they congratulated her on the betrothal, but she was looking for one person in particular. She needed to share the news with her best friend in the world, the one who knew just how much this meant for her, how long and how bad she'd been wishing for it. The witch spotted Rita easily, seeing that she was looking for her too, tears streaming down her face in excitement as she reached her friend. "I'm engaged, Rita!" She blurted out, words she thought she'd never get to say, the emotion clear on her voice and the grin spreading wide on her lips.
