oHH BOY I HAVE SO MANY

1) Tyrion taught Kenna to read. When she found him she was illiterate, as she’d had no type of education, but he reasoned that if she was to work in the capital it would be in her best interests to learn. It was slow going, mainly just her butchering the words of a book, but they persisted and she became one hell of a bookworm. When she arrived in Kings Landing she was inseparable from the library.

2) They really enjoy getting drunk together. Kenna has Tyrion’s alcoholic tendencies - she did also grow up in an Inn, so alcohol wasn’t alien to her - and sometimes it helps them both to unwind to simply sit in Tyrion’s study and drink the night away. Bronn joins them occasionally, which always guarantees hilarity. 

3) Kenna does not often find herself in relationships - her status and self consciousness keeps her from trying to enter them in the first place - but Tyrion is not the type to shun her from trying new things when it comes to that sort of stuff. He isn’t really good at talking about it all, but if Kenna were to be found in someone else’s bed he would never reprimand her, just so long as she is sure to drink Moon Tea. He doesn’t think he could handle the thought of being a grandfather.

The words give him pause for more reasons than Jaime would like to think about. His brother wasn’t exactly known for being forthright. For a moment, he thinks it’s a ploy, a quiet shot at their father. Maybe even a dig at him. 

Fingers dig in against his eyes for a moment, trying to pull the sleep from them. He’s only been at the table beside his brother for a few minutes, he was wholly unprepared to be assaulted on this front. 

(It warms him. Being a father isn’t something he’s been allowed to do in his life. To know that he’s done some good...)

A swallow of wine is enough to chase away equally sweet words. He can’t very well say I love you dearly, Tyrion.

Lyanna couldn’t help smirking at the southron lords that loudly complained about how cold it was. It was hardly cold enough for water to freeze in the ponds and creeks, let alone for snow to stick to the ground. This was warm weather for the Starks and other Northerners that had gathered for the tourney.

She had to tell him soon. Their forces were returning to Kings Landing within the week, and with every passing hour her chances dwindled. She’d told herself not to put too much hope on it all - he was a Lannister, a highborn, and she just a bastard. He was just as likely to toss her aside as he was to take her in.

But he had been kind to her the whole time, and that little part of her heart glowed with hope that the death of her mother had yet failed to extinguish. So there, in his tent, holding a jug of wine by his table, she knew she had to take that leap.

“My lord, may I speak to you for a moment?”
